Mounting
We offer three ways to secure your frame bag to your bike. Selection is based on your bike’s components and your personal preferences. Combinations are possible.

Reinforced Velcro Tabs
Our standard mounting option allows for straps to be placed where they need to be for even distribution of weight and accommodation of components. Velcro tabs allow the bag to be removed quickly from the bike, which can be preferable to some but a security risk to others.
Direct Mount
Direct mounts can be located where your bike has bottle bosses on the interior of the frame. It utilizes the existing screw paired with a nylon washer to compress the bag to the frame through a reinforced hole. Some prefer them as they provide a clean look, less rubbing on the frame and added security as they are harder to remove. Direct mounts have an additional cost.
Lacing
Lacing utilizes elastic cord and webbing loops along the lengths of the bag, providing an even anchor from bag to bike. This options is often chosen for its added security (harder to remove) and less rubbing on frame. Lacing has an additional cost.
Zippers
We offer two zipper options:
-
YKK#8 Aquaguard (coil)
-
Paskal #8 PU Coated Molded Vislon tooth
Both are water resistant. We find that many PNW customers (and others that play in wet and muddy conditions) prefer the coil zipper while the toothed zipper excels in drier climates.

Pic-Fit
Let’s get your custom FRAME bag rolling!
Follow these simple steps to send us the perfect reference photo.
1. Point-of-Reference
-
Take an 8.5" x 11" sheet of white paper and fold it in half.
-
Using a thick dark marker, draw a 6" line in the center, adding hash marks every inch.*
-
Tape the paper to the top tube of your bike.

*Be accurate with your line and hash marks, the fit of your bag is based on these measurements.
2. Grab Your Bike
-
With the paper attached, place your bike parallel to a flat surface (like a wall).
-
Align the crankarms so they’re parallel with the floor.
-
Choose a wall that contrasts with your bike frame for better visibility.
-
Natural daylight works best—avoid harsh shadows when possible.

3. Say Cheese!
Before you take your photo, keep these tips in mind:
-
If you want a direct-mount frame bag, make sure all bottle and mounting bosses are visible.
-
Mount any other bags you normally use (top tube bag, seat post bag, etc.) so we can check for strap clearance.
Positioning:
-
Stand at least 15 feet from your bike.
-
Keep the camera/phone lens level with the middle of your bike’s triangle.
-
Make sure both wheels are fully visible—back up if needed.
-
The further away you are (while keeping the paper’s line visible), the more accurate the image will be.
Snap that pic!

4. Check and Send
Choose the best photo and double-check:
-
Only one chainstay is visible.
-
Only one seatstay is visible.
-
Only one fork leg is visible.
-
Zoom in to confirm the reference line and hash marks are clearly visible.
